Cong Jing Ng

Cong Jing Ng has a diverse work experience across various industries and roles. Starting in 2010, they worked as a Mobile Credit Officer at Public Bank, where they processed loans and assessed eligibility for individuals and businesses. In 2011, they became a Research Analyst at CEIC Data, responsible for maintaining time-series databases and responding to customer inquiries. In 2012, they joined LafargeHolcim as a Market Analyst, gathering quantitative and qualitative data for competitive intelligence analyses. At Westports Malaysia in 2017, they served as a Senior Commercial Executive, improving business performance analyses and contributing to a renewable energy project. From 2020 to 2022, they were the Chief Analytics Officer at Surge Ventures, focusing on developing financial analysis platforms and analytical dashboards. Most recently, Ng worked as the Head of Insights at dataxet:nama in 2022, where they designed a methodology to monitor trending topics and public sentiment for the Malaysian Elections using NLP techniques. Cong Jing also pioneered the utilization of Bertopic for generating insights from social media posts. Ng's most recent position is as a Senior Decision Scientist at Beyondsoft, starting in 2023.

Cong Jing Ng completed a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration with a specialization in Finance and Business Economics from The Ohio State University Fisher College of Business, attending from 2007 to 2009. Prior to that, Ng obtained a Diploma in Finance, with a focus on General Finance, from Taylor's University, where they studied from 2005 to 2007. Additionally, Ng obtained a certification as a Digital Wealth Masterclass Practitioner from World MasterClass in December 2019.
