Margaret Kuo

Margaret Kuo (Pacey) is a Principal User Experience Researcher at BeyondTrust since January 2023, previously serving as a Senior User Experience Design Researcher at McAfee from April 2017 to January 2023. Prior to McAfee, Margaret was a User Experience Consultant for local startups from June 2016 to April 2017, providing usability and interaction design consulting, conducting heuristic reviews, user research, and competitive analysis. Margaret's experience also includes working as a Design Insights Analyst at BlackBerry from February 2009 to February 2016, where design insights were generated through ethnographic research and usability testing. Additionally, Margaret served as a Human Factors Engineer at Hewlett-Packard from June 2000 to October 2008, focusing on improving the usability of low-end LaserJet printers. Margaret holds a Master of Applied Science degree in Systems Design Engineering with a focus on Human-Computer Interaction from the University of Waterloo, completed between 1997 and 2000.
