Alexander Lupersolsky has a diverse work experience spanning over several decades. Alexander began their career as a System Engineer and Researcher at the Research Institute on Computers in 1980 and continued in this role until 1993.
From 1993 to 1999, Alexander worked at the Belarussian Interbank Settlement Center as the Vice Chief of the Data Transfer Software Department. In this role, they managed the maintenance of software and hardware for the proprietary secure information transfer subsystem. Alexander also evaluated vendors' proposals for WAN and LAN modernization and designed the next generation of the subsystem using IBM DB2 and IBM MQSeries on the Windows platform.
In 1999, Alexander joined International Business Alliance as a Leading Specialist of the Information Systems Department. Alexander led several software projects for IBM and IBM customers, primarily using Java, SQL, JavaScript, and HTML. Additionally, they supervised a team of developers.
From 2003 to 2010, Alexander served as the Director of Modeling Technologies at BEZ Systems. Their responsibilities included designing, developing, and maintaining the Prediction Engine, which was a core component of the BEZProphet/BEZVision performance monitoring and capacity planning tool. Alexander also assisted customers in linking business and IT performance and analyzing system optimization solutions.
Alexander then joined Compuware Corporation in 2010 as a Software Architect. In this role, they designed and implemented the Anomaly Detection module for Outage Analyzer using Java, MapReduce, and statistical methods. Alexander also developed a Problem and Cause ranking function for Root Cause Analysis application and researched the applicability of Machine Learning methods to Root Cause Analysis.
In 2012, Alexander became the President of Solved Now, and from 2015 onwards, they have been serving as the Chief Technology Officer at BEZNext. In this role, they are responsible for data collection, analysis, performance and cost prediction and optimization of Data Warehouses on premises and on Cloud platforms, Data Lakes. Alexander also focuses on Continuous Dynamic Capacity Management in hybrid environments and optimization of DevOps and FinOps decisions.
Alexander Lupersolsky's education history begins with their time at the Minsk Radio Engineering Institute, where they earned their Master of Science (MS) degree in Computer Science from 1975 to 1980. Alexander later pursued a Post Graduate degree at MREI from 1983 to 1987, obtaining a Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) in Computer Science.
In addition to their formal education, Alexander Lupersolsky has obtained several certifications. In November 2015, they received the ITIL® Foundation Certificate in IT Service Management from PEOPLECERT. During the same time, they also obtained the Lean Six Sigma Green Belt certification from MicroTrain Technologies. In January 2014, Alexander completed the Machine Learning course at Stanford through Coursera. Finally, in January 2016, they achieved the Certified Associate in Project Management (CAPM) certification from the Project Management Institute.
