Allison Wood (she/her/hers)

Allison Wood has extensive work experience in various roles and organizations. Allison'smost recent position is Director of School Operations at Bezos Academy, starting in 2022. Prior to that, they worked at Equal Opportunity Schools where they held multiple roles, including Managing Director, Senior Director, Interim, and Partnership Director. In these roles, they were responsible for building and strengthening systems, managing teams, overseeing strategy and planning, and promoting collaboration. Allison also worked at NYU/Sauti Yetu as a Project Manager, where they co-designed a monitoring and evaluation system for a nonprofit organization. Additionally, they have experience as a Charter Portfolio Analyst at the NYC Department of Education, a Business Analyst at Yurgosky Consulting, a Research Assistant at CAMBA, and an Instructor at FareStart.

Allison Wood (she/her/hers) obtained their Bachelor of Arts degree in Women's Studies and Political Science from the University of Wisconsin-Madison in 2006. Following that, they pursued a Master of Public Administration (MPA) degree in Public and Nonprofit Management from New York University from 2011 to 2013. In 2010, they also completed a Graduate Certificate in Business Administration from the University of Washington. In terms of additional certifications, Allison obtained a certification in Strategic Thinking from LinkedIn in November 2020.
