Nicolau Barquet

Nicolau Barquet is an experienced credit manager currently leading a team of seven professionals at BFF Banking Group since February 2015. BFF Banking Group specializes in the non-recourse purchase of public sector credits in Spain, Italy, and Portugal. Prior to this role, Nicolau served as a credit controller from July to December 2014 at the same company and worked at Sanofi Pasteur MSD from February 2007 to July 2014 as a specialist in accounts receivable, taxes, annual accounts, and general accounting. Notable achievements include successfully managing the collection of aged debt from 2008 to 2011, recovering 99% and reducing financial expenses by 75%, as well as developing a credit limit calculation method that was exported to other European subsidiaries. Nicolau Barquet holds a degree in Economics from Universidad Autónoma de Madrid and completed an executive coaching program at IESE Business School.
