Joe York

Joe York is a seasoned professional in the field of filmmaking and video production, currently serving as a Partner and Co-founder at Panola Pictures since August 2016. With extensive experience as a Freelance Video Editor at Miles and as a Freelance Videographer/Editor at BFG Communications since October 2013, and a Freelance Documentary Filmmaker for the Historic Arkansas Museum since November 2012, York has demonstrated versatility and expertise in various roles. From August 2006 to August 2016, York held the position of Senior Producer of Documentary Projects at the University of Mississippi, where over 160 short films and videos and four award-winning feature-length documentaries were developed under York’s guidance. Joe York holds a Master of Arts in Southern Studies from the University of Mississippi and a Bachelor of Arts in Anthropology from Auburn University.
