Kristjan Laanemaa

Kristjan Laanemaa is a Founding Partner at Karma Ventures, an early-stage venture capital firm specializing in seed and A round investments in deep-tech software startups across Europe, since February 2016. Laanemaa serves on the boards of several companies, including Patchstack, which secures web apps from vulnerabilities, Bfore.Ai, providing predictive intelligence for cyber networks, CybExer Technologies, focused on cybersecurity training solutions, CGTrader, a 3D design marketplace, and Sonarworks, an audio technology startup. Previous board memberships include DRUID AI, Ingrid Cloud, InBio, and Ecofleet. Laanemaa holds a BA in Finance and International Management from the University of Tartu and has a background in academia from Hugo Treffneri Gümnaasium and Võru I Keskkool.
