Valter Caldeira

Valter Caldeira is an experienced Lead Data Scientist currently with BGB Group since September 2024, and previously held the same title at Beats Medical and Tenthpin Management Consultants. With a strong background in analytics and data science, Valter has contributed to various healthcare projects, focusing on article summarization and insights gathering for research. Prior roles include serving as a Data Scientist SME at Novartis, providing architectural insights for commercial solutions, and working with AC Immune as an Analytics Consultant. Valter's early career included significant contributions to government projects as a Data Scientist and Team Leader at Novabase, as well as experience as a Java Full Stack Developer. Valter holds a degree from Instituto Superior de Engenharia de Lisboa and participated in the DeepLearn International Summer School on Deep Learning at Università degli Studi di Genova.
