Hamid Ahmadi

Hamid Ahmadi is an experienced technology leader with a robust background in regulatory reporting and reference data management. Currently serving as the Head of Regulatory & Reference Data Technology at BGC Partners since January 2018, Hamid oversees global technology efforts related to various regulatory frameworks, including MiFID, EMIR, and CFTC. Prior to this role, Hamid spent over 16 years at Barclays Investment Bank in various positions, culminating as MifID II Product Data Programme Manager, and held leadership roles in Instrument & Price Business Solutions and Reference Data Technology. Hamid's career began in development roles at Primus Telecommunications Group, PWA Personnel Systems, and Demica Plc. Educational qualifications include an MSc in Information Systems and Management from Birkbeck, University of London, and a BSc in Computer Science from Queen Mary University of London.
