Jill Williams

Jill Williams is a Partner at BGF, where since January 2023, portfolio success in growth and value creation is guided, particularly for the Yorkshire & North East portfolio. Jill serves as a Board Trustee for BGF Foundation and previously held the position of Deputy Fund Principal at Mercia Asset Management PLC from April 2018 to January 2023, leading significant private equity investments throughout North England and the Midlands. Additional experience includes roles as Head of ESG at Mercia, Investment Director at Wheatsheaf Group Limited, and Investment Director at RJD Partners, where substantial capital deployment and strategic investment decisions were made across various sectors. Jill's early career involved private equity advisory at PricewaterhouseCoopers, complemented by a strong academic background with degrees from the University of Oxford, ICAEW, and the University of Cambridge, along with distinctions from The Open University.
