Peter Althoff

Peter Althoff is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in virtual reality instructional design and visual effects. Currently serving as a VR-ISD Programmer at BGI, LLC since January 2025, Peter focuses on developing innovative virtual reality training solutions for the A10C II Warthog and EC130 Compass Call programs. Previously, Peter worked as a VR Instructional Systems Designer at C² Technologies, Inc., and has a diverse freelance career in graphic design, animation, and post-production since 2006. Peter's prior roles include a 3D Generalist at Abbott Animation, an IT Supervisor and Senior Information Technology Analyst at the University of Arizona, and an Instructional Media Design and Animation Specialist at the UNC-Morehead Planetarium and Science Center. Peter holds a Master's degree in Management Information Systems from the University of Phoenix and a BA in Visual Effects and Motion Graphics from The Art Institutes.
