Adel Saleem

Adel Saleem has extensive work experience in various senior leadership roles. Starting in 2001, they worked as a Senior Technical Systems Analyst at RBC. Adel then moved on to become a Manager of Data Analytics and Reporting at RBC from 2005 to 2008. Adel subsequently joined CBRE as a Project Manager in Information Technology for a short time in 2008. Adel returned to RBC in 2018 as the Director of Innovation Strategy, Operations, and Partnerships. Adel later worked at CIBC, where they held multiple positions, including Director of Accounts Payable for North America and Director of Program Management Office. From 2019 to 2021, they served as a Senior Director of Program and Integrated Service Management at CIBC. Adel then joined Absolute Software as a Senior Director of Program Management. Currently, they are working as the Managing Director for BGIS, responsible for managing the BMO, Bank of Montreal account.

Adel Saleem holds a Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree from Dalhousie University and has studied Data Science in Real Estate at the MIT School of Architecture + Planning. Adel also has a background in Artificial Intelligence: Implications for Business Strategy, which was pursued at the MIT Sloan School of Management. In addition, Adel is a Fellow of the Institute of Canadian Bankers (FICB) obtained from the Canadian Securities Institute. Adel is also certified as a Six Sigma Yellow Belt from IIL. Adel's educational background also includes a Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science from York University. Additional certifications Adel holds include the Certified ScrumMaster (CSM) from Scrum Alliance and the Project Management Professional (PMP) from the Project Management Institute.
