Lara Brummell McIps

Lara Brummell MCIPS has a comprehensive work experience in procurement and portfolio management. Lara started their career at RailCorp in 2010, where they held various roles including Senior Buying and Compliance Specialist and Procurement Manager. In 2013, they joined Sydney Trains as a Project Manager and later progressed to become a Category Manager and then a Commercial Stream Lead. In 2016, they worked at Broadspectrum as a Category Specialist before joining Amazon Web Services in 2017 as a Senior Procurement & Supplier Development Manager. Currently, they are the Head of Procurement Operations at BGIS, where they have also held the positions of Head of Portfolio Management and Portfolio Manager, Procurement.

Lara Brummell MCIPS obtained a Bachelor of Management degree with a focus on Marketing from the University of Newcastle in 2006. In 2011, Lara completed the CIPS Level 4 Foundation Diploma in Purchasing and Supply from CIPS - The Chartered Institute of Procurement & Supply. In 2012, they obtained the Level 5 Advanced Diploma in Procurement & Supply from the same institution. Lastly, in 2013, Lara completed the CIPS Level 6 Professional Diploma in Procurement & Supply. Additionally, Lara obtained a certification in "Women Leaders: Own Your Success" from the Australian Institute of Management in December 2022.
