Vignesh Jayakrishnan

Vignesh Jayakrishnan, P. Eng, is an accomplished engineering professional with extensive experience in mechanical engineering and HVAC systems. Currently serving as the Director of Engineering at BGIS since May 2022, Vignesh leads the M&E consulting division and focuses on delivering innovative engineering solutions to clients. Previously, Vignesh held the position of Senior Manager of Engineering at Enercare Inc. from February 2018 to May 2022, where key achievements included developing energy-efficient designs and the Smart Building Program. Vignesh has also worked as an HVAC Engineer at The Mitchell Partnership Inc., an Intermediate Thermal Systems Engineer at Aiolos Engineering Corporation, and in various engineering roles across multiple companies, demonstrating a strong background in thermal systems and project analysis. Vignesh holds a Master's of Applied Science in Mechanical Engineering and a Bachelor's degree in the same field from the University of Waterloo.
