P Velmurugan has extensive experience in power project management, currently serving as a Senior Manager at BGR Energy Systems since February 2009, with responsibilities that include overseeing projects at a senior level and engaging directly with the company's top leadership. Prior to this role, P Velmurugan was involved in smelter and power project management at Vedanta Resources Limited from June 2004 to February 2009, where notable achievements included being selected for planning and control facilities and successfully completing the Hydro Zinc Project in record time. P Velmurugan holds a B. Tech in Production Engineering from the National Institute of Technology, Tiruchirappalli, obtained in 2004, and has a foundational education from local schools in Srirangam and Trichy.
