Ishita Mukherjee

Ishita Mukherjee is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in operations management within the insurance industry. Currently serving as the Chief Operating Officer at Bharti AXA Life Insurance since January 2018, Ishita oversees various functions, including Operations, IT, Underwriting, Claims, and Customer Experience. Prior to this role, Ishita held leadership positions such as Head of Operations at Bajaj Finserv Lending and Head of Operations at Bajaj Allianz Life Insurance Company Limited, managing both life and general insurance operations. Previous experience includes serving as Chief Information Officer at SBI Life Insurance Co. Ltd. and roles in business process engineering and operational management at Bajaj Allianz and the Life Insurance Corporation of India. Ishita holds an education from the University of Calcutta.
