Alexandra Iljadica is a seasoned investor at BHP since February 2022, previously serving as the Founding Principal of the 5G Open Innovation Lab, where Alexandra fostered collaboration among developers, startups, and enterprises through 5G and edge computing. Alexandra held the position of Principal at Quake Capital Partners, managing recruitment for startups and building relationships with West Coast VCs. A sabbatical period from November 2017 to November 2018 included significant personal and professional experiences across Europe and the USA. As Co-Founder and CEO of Youth Food Movement Australia from June 2010 to November 2017, Alexandra drove impactful projects and engaged a community of over 19,000 young people focused on food systems. Additionally, Alexandra’s academic background includes degrees in Public Health from UNSW and a Bachelor of Science from the University of Wollongong, augmented by executive education in negotiation and leadership from Harvard Law School.
