Juleen Brown GAICD, FAusIMM(CP) is an accomplished professional with extensive experience in the mining and resources sector. Currently serving as the Head of Sustainability Governance and Assurance, as well as the Head of Social Value Governance & Integration at BHP since August 2019, Juleen also holds the position of Director at AusIMM since January 2023, contributing to the advancement of the minerals industry. Previous roles include Manager of Environment at Wood and Manager of ESIA at Xstrata Copper, showcasing a strong background in environmental management and governance. Juleen’s academic qualifications include a Masters in Environmental Management and a Bachelor of Engineering in Mining from The University of Queensland, complemented by ongoing education at the Australian Institute of Company Directors.
