Manuel Cifuentes

Manuel Cifuentes has extensive experience in the mining and engineering sectors, currently serving as the Head of Maintenance Strategy and Governance at BHP since July 2015. Previous roles at BHP include Head of Asset Management and Engineering, Head of Asset Management, and Manager of Strategy Optimization. Prior to BHP, Manuel Cifuentes worked at Minera Escondida from October 2010 to June 2015, holding positions such as Superintendente de Confiabilidad y Mejoramiento and Jefe de Mantenimiento. Manuel Cifuentes holds a Master of Business Administration (MBA) from Universidad Adolfo Ibáñez and a Bachelor of Engineering in Mechanical Engineering from Universidad de Chile.
