Prem R. Adhikari

Prem R. Adhikari is a seasoned data scientist with extensive experience in data analytics and machine learning. Currently serving as Lead Value Analytics at BHP since May 2017, Prem has held multiple roles within the organization, including Principal Data Analytics and Data Scientist. Previously, at Hatch from September 2016 to May 2017, responsibilities included predictive maintenance projects and automating data cleaning processes. At the Turku Center for Disease Modelling from February 2015 to September 2016, Prem focused on extracting insights from heterogeneous data and developing disease-related software. Earlier roles included Machine Learning Researcher at the Helsinki Institute for Information Technology HIIT, where Prem contributed to data analysis methodologies and research documentation. Prem holds a Doctor of Science (Technology) degree in Machine Learning and Data Mining, as well as a Master's degree in the same field, both from Aalto University.
