Roberto Razzetto Canales is a seasoned engineer with extensive experience in data strategy, digital transformation, and process optimization in the mining and petrochemical industries. Currently serving as Principal Engineer at BHP since October 2016, Roberto leads the Data & Platform initiative, positioning the company at the forefront of technological transformation. Previous roles include Senior Consultant at Pontificia Universidad Católica de Chile, focusing on Big Data and Machine Learning, and various positions at Honeywell, where Roberto achieved significant advancements in process optimization, including the successful implementation of a predictive control platform that generated over USD 10 million in annual benefits for Codelco. Roberto holds multiple degrees from recognized institutions, including a Posgrade in Big Data & Digital Transformation and a Master of Science in Advanced Process Control.
