Andrew Gibbs

Andrew Gibbs, MBA, has a diverse work experience spanning over 20 years. Andrew is currently working as the Director of BI and Integrated Systems at Biagi Bros. since June 2019. Prior to that, they worked at Jameco Electronics, serving as a Consultant and later as the Director of IT from September 2018 to August 2019.

From January 2014 to September 2018, Andrew Gibbs worked at Biagi Bros. as a Systems Analyst. In this role, they collaborated with the IT Director to align company software and systems with corporate objectives. Andrew also designed, developed, and managed software projects to improve business processes and maintained reports related to company performance and productivity. Additionally, they provided training and assistance on financial accounting in Microsoft Dynamics AX and supported third-party software applications and integrations related to warehousing and transportation.

Earlier in their career, Andrew Gibbs co-founded and served as the Development Lead at ScriptNoted from January 2013 to June 2017. Andrew also worked as a Senior Technical Lead at Nygard International and a .NET Developer, where they designed and developed web-based applications to enhance business processes and improve communication between head-office and retail stores. Furthermore, they developed a mobile framework for performing markdowns in retail locations using Symbol mobile devices.

Apart from these roles, Andrew Gibbs also had experiences as a Co-Owner and Development Lead at BUZbuz, a Programmer at Information Age Computer Services, and a Co-op Programmer at Technologies for Learning Group and Manitoba Education and Youth - Systems and Technology Services. Andrew started their career as a Tier 1 Associate at Convergys - AT&T Broadband Business Services.

Throughout their career, Andrew Gibbs has utilized technologies such as MS Dynamics AX, MS SSRS, MS SQL Server, X++, ASP.NET, MVC, C#, JavaScript, JQuery, and VB.NET to drive successful project outcomes and enhance business operations.

Andrew Gibbs completed their education at the University of Manitoba, where they obtained a Bachelor of Computer Science degree from 1999 to 2004. Andrew then pursued a Master of Business Administration with a focus on Supply Chain Management from 2009 to 2012 at the same university. In 2013-2014, they attended the Schulich School of Business - York University to earn a Master's Certificate in Project Management.

In addition to their formal education, Andrew Gibbs obtained certifications from Microsoft in August 2017. These certifications include MB6-890 - Microsoft Dynamics AX Development Introduction and Microsoft Certified Professional.
