Mariana C. Rocha

Mariana C. Rocha, PhD, currently serves as an Innovation and Business Development Analyst at BIAL since September 2021. Previously, Mariana held positions at SPRIM as a Senior Scientific Consultant and Project Manager, where responsibilities included leading national and international advisory boards and conducting research projects across various therapeutic areas. Prior roles included Design Researcher Trainee at Garaje de Ideas and Research Associate at King’s College London, focusing on mitochondrial metabolism. Mariana's educational background includes a PhD in Mitochondrial Diseases from Newcastle University, a Master of Science in Neuroscience from the Institute of Molecular Medicine, and a Bachelor’s degree in Biology.
