Mar Soraparu

Mar Soraparu has a diverse work experience. From 2018, they co-founded and served as the Chief Wellness Officer at BIÂN, a private members club focused on holistic health and social well-being. Prior to that, they worked as an independent contractor at Yoga With Mar, providing private yoga, empowerment coaching, and meditation services, as well as corporate yoga and fitness events. From 2013 to 2014, they worked in business development for alternatives at Guggenheim Partners. Before that, from 2011 to 2013, they worked in marketing/sales at NWQ Investment Management / Nuveen Investments.

Mar Soraparu received a Bachelor of Arts (BA) degree in Sociology from UCLA, where they studied from 2007 to 2011. In addition to their formal education, Mar has obtained several certifications in the field of coaching and yoga teaching. Mar completed the Robbins-Madanes Strategic Intervention Life Coach program at Robbins Madanes Training in June 2019, the Optimize Coach program at Optimize Coaching in July 2018, the Frame Of Mind Life Coaching program at Frame of Mind Coaching™ in April 2015, and became a Registered Yoga Teacher (300 Hour) certified by Yoga Alliance in April 2014.
