Gareth Davies

Gareth Davies has a diverse work experience spanning various organizations. Gareth currently holds the position of Church Engagement Lead at Bible Society since April 2022. Prior to this role, they served as the Church Engagement Manager at Bible Society from June 2019 to April 2022. In 2019, they worked as a freelance speaker and writer on Faith, Politics, and Social Action. From 2016 to 2019, Gareth was the UK Director at CARE (Christian Action Research and Education) and also held the position of Head of Churches Department from 2011 to 2015. Gareth began their career as a Development Officer at CARE in 2007. Before joining CARE, Gareth served as the South East Team Leader at UNIVERSITIES & COLLEGES CHRISTIAN FELLOWSHIP from 2000 to 2007. Their earliest work experience was as a Database Administrator at Kent County Council from 1995 to 1997.

Gareth Davies completed their education history with a Bachelor of Arts (Hons) degree in Applied Theology from Moorlands College, which they attended from 1997 to 2000. Prior to that, they obtained a Bachelor of Engineering (Hons) degree in Mineral Engineering from the University of Leeds, where they studied from 1984 to 1987. In addition, Gareth has also obtained certifications in Project Leadership and Taking Charge of Technology for Maximum Productivity from LinkedIn in the year 2020.
