Alain Bruyère has a diverse work experience spanning over several decades. Alain started their career at SESA Benelux as a Project Leader from 1982 to 1986. Alain then moved to SWIFT, where they worked as a Knowledge and Expert Systems Marketing Manager from 1986 to 1990. Following that, they joined Bull Information Systems as a Product Manager for EDMS and Distributed Computing from 1990 to 1996.

Alain then transitioned to Belgacom, where they held various roles, including Marketing Manager for Value Added Services and CPEs from 1996 to 2001, Program Manager and Project Manager from 2001 to 2004, and Senior Program Manager from 2004 to 2007. At Belgacom, they successfully managed projects and programs in domains such as regulatory, systems automation, process efficiency, and financial optimization.

After their tenure at Belgacom, Alain joined Centre Comprendre et Parler as an Administrative and Financial Director on two separate six-month half-time contracts from 2011 to 2012. Alain then moved to bpost, where they worked as an Expert Project Manager in the Corporate Program Management department from 2012 to 2016. During their time at bpost, they handled various projects, including the implementation of a new intranet, a cash forecasting solution, and program management for the MRS and HR&O divisions.

Alain's most recent role was at BICS, where they served as a Program Manager. Alain held this position twice, initially from 2017 to 2019 and then from 2018 to 2019. Overall, through their extensive experience in program management and project leadership, Alain has demonstrated their ability to successfully drive and deliver projects across multiple industries and domains.

Alain Bruyère completed their education at two different institutions. From 1974 to 1980, they attended Université catholique de Louvain, where they obtained a degree in Ingénieur Civil with a specialization in Electricity/Telecommunications. Following this, from 1981 to 1983, they attended Solvay Brussels School of Economics and Management and obtained a License degree in Gestion d'Entreprise.

In addition to their formal education, Alain Bruyère obtained the Prince II Foundations certification from Amelior in April 2012.
