Evangelos Vlassis

Evangelos Vlassis has extensive work experience in the telecommunications industry. Evangelos started their career at COSMOTE Mobile Telecommunications S.A., where they worked in various roles. As a Principal IN implementation Engineer, they were responsible for planning, developing, and implementing new data and messaging products and services. Evangelos also gathered business requirements and translated them into product requirements. Additionally, they worked as an Internet Services & Data Network System Administrator, where they were in charge of the operation support and maintenance of messaging, browsing, content, and service delivery platforms. Evangelos reduced operation tasks duration and achieved a significant reduction in response time to network incidents. Evangelos also played a key role in introducing and launching the Blackberry service. Prior to their roles at COSMOTE, Evangelos worked as an OSS/NMS System Administrator, where they administered various platforms and represented the company at vendor user groups. Evangelos also performed hardware and software installations, maintenance, troubleshooting, and integration tasks. In 2019, Evangelos joined BICS as an IoT Solution Architect and ICT Business Analyst. In this role, they are responsible for defining the IT strategy and aligning it with the business strategy and objectives. Evangelos also analyzes business requirements and translates them into system solutions. Additionally, Evangelos has experience as a freelance web developer.

Evangelos Vlassis has a Master of Science degree in "Communications Engineering" from The University of Manchester.
