Arnaud Tiberghien

Arnaud Tiberghien has over 19 years of experience in the pharmaceutical and biotechnology industry. Arnaud most recently worked at Bicycle Therapeutics as the Associate Director of Chemistry. Prior to that, they held the position of Chemistry Group Leader at Bicycle Therapeutics. Arnaud worked at AstraZeneca for nearly 9 years, starting as a Scientist II and progressing to the role of Associate Principal Scientist. During their time at AstraZeneca, they led ADC medicinal chemistry projects and was involved in antibody-drug conjugate payload design and synthesis. Arnaud also has experience at Spirogen, where they served as a Senior Chemist and played a key role in the development of the Spirogen pyrrolobenzodiazepine (PBD) platform, including ADC payloads such as talirine and tesirine. Arnaud was the lead chemist on the tesirine drug-linker synthetic program.

Arnaud Tiberghien's education history includes a PhD in Medicinal Chemistry from The School of Pharmacy, University of London, which was obtained from 2002 to 2007. Prior to that, they pursued a Master of Organic Chemistry at the National Institute of Applied Science in Rouen, France, completing it from 1995 to 2000. Additionally, Arnaud obtained a Master of Chemistry from the University of Nottingham, which they pursued from 1999 to 2000.
