Hongmei Xu

Hongmei Xu has extensive work experience in the field of pharmaceuticals and clinical pharmacology. Hongmei currently holds the position of VP and head of Quantitative Pharmacology at Bicycle Therapeutics. Prior to this, they worked at Karyopharm Therapeutics Inc. where they served as Executive Director and head of Clinical Pharmacology and DMPK, as well as Sr. Director and head of Clinical Pharmacology. Before their time at Karyopharm Therapeutics, Hongmei Xu held positions at AstraZeneca as Director of Quantitative Clinical Pharmacology and Senior Clinical Pharmacometrician/Associate Director. Hongmei also worked as a PKPD Research Fellow at the University at Buffalo and as a Postdoctoral Fellow at the University of Sydney.

Hongmei Xu completed a Bachelor of Science in Pharmacy at the Shanghai Medical College of Fudan University. Afterward, they pursued a PhD in Pharmaceutical Sciences at the University of Sydney, which they completed in the years 2005 to 2008.
