Jim MacDonald-Clink

Jim MacDonald-Clink has a diverse and extensive work experience in the pharmaceutical and medical field. Jim is currently the VP of Business Development at Bicycle Therapeutics since November 2022. Prior to this, they were the VP of Business Development at Arecor Therapeutics plc from November 2019 to November 2022.

From 2010 to 2019, Jim held multiple roles at Mundipharma International Limited, including Senior Corporate and Business Development Lead, Interim Director of Strategic Partnerships, Interim Head of Corporate and Business Development, Business Development Manager, and Medical Affairs Manager.

Before joining Mundipharma, Jim worked at Astellas Pharma as a Brand Manager for Transplantation and as a Medical & Scientific Liaison Manager. Prior to that, they worked at Fujisawa as a Medical & Scientific Liaison and Clinical Research Associate.

Jim's earlier experience includes working at The Institute of Cancer Research as a Research Manager in Oncology and at Great Ormond Street Hospital for Children NHS Trust/Institute of Child Health as a Clinical Data Manager.

Jim MacDonald-Clink attended UCL from 1991 to 1994, where they earned a Bachelor of Science (B.Sc.) degree in Medicinal and Pharmaceutical Chemistry.
