Quan Tran

Quan Tran is a skilled Drafting Manager at BID Group, leading a team of eight mechanical drafters in the development of mechanical drawings for MoCo’s Servo Electric Lumber Stacker since March 2019. Responsibilities include providing technical guidance, collaborating with engineering and production teams, and overseeing the recruitment and training of new drafters. Quan has expertise in SolidWorks, utilizing advanced modeling methods and tools, maintaining project files, and ensuring designs adhere to industry standards. Prior experience includes an internship at ISEC, Inc., where Quan estimated project costs and created Submittal Packages, and a role as a Math Tutor at Eastern Washington University, supporting students in various mathematical subjects. Quan holds a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering from Eastern Washington University.
