Steeve Fecteau

Steeve Fecteau has a diverse and extensive work experience. Steeve is currently working as the Process Integration Director at BID Group since May 2016. Prior to that, they worked at Ordre des ingénieurs du Québec where they held the positions of Investigator from September 2014 to October 2017 and Inspector from May 2010 to April 2016.

Before joining Ordre des ingénieurs du Québec, Steeve had over 10 years of project management experience in various companies. Steeve was responsible for managing complex industrial projects, including production equipment, control systems, and building services. Steeve also had more than 5 years of engineering management experience, leading a team of up to 20 engineers, technicians, and CAD drafters.

Additionally, Steeve had extensive experience in mechanical design and research and development. Steeve was involved in designing and implementing cost-effective industrial machines and equipment to improve safety, productivity, and reliability.

Earlier in their career, Steeve held positions in Carbotech International, where they worked as an Engineering Manager from 2001 to 2003 and from 2008 to 2010, as well as a Project Manager from 2006 to 2008. Steeve also worked at Comact as a Project Manager from 1994 to 1997 and from 2003 to 2006, and as an Engineering Manager from 1997 to 1999.

Throughout their career, Steeve has demonstrated their skills in project management, engineering management, mechanical design, and research and development.

Steeve Fecteau has a strong educational background in engineering. Steeve obtained a Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering from Université Laval in 1992. Following this, they pursued further studies and earned a Master's degree in Mining Engineering from the same institution in 1994.

In addition to their degrees, Fecteau has also obtained two important certifications. Steeve obtained a P. Eng. (Professional Engineer) certification from the Ordre des ingénieurs du Québec in 1992. Furthermore, in 2017, they achieved the prestigious Project Management Professional (PMP) certification from the Project Management Institute.
