Alexander Vagner

Alexander Vagner has been a professional in the software engineering industry since 2014. Alexander began their career at Digital Design as a Software Developer, where they developed a web app for document management systems of government institutions. Alexander was then promoted to Senior Software Developer, where they took on the role of team leader and web app architect. In 2017, they joined The MYSALE Group as a Development Team Lead, where they were responsible for a cloud-based highload system for collecting, analyzing, and visualizing metrics for an international network of online stores. Alexander also lead a team of 7 developers and designed a data backup system for the analytics system. In the same year, they co-founded Torrow Technologies, where they were responsible for the architecture, development, and technological landscape of the company. Alexander developed and supported more than 100 microservices and over 20 subsystems, and they also developed part of the hybrid application responsible for business logic and offline work. Alexander also set up an automated testing environment and CI for BackEnd and FrontEnd. In 2022, they joined Bidease as a Senior Software Engineer and Slurm Слерм as a Course Author and Speaker, where they wrote and taught a course on Software Architecture and made webinars and mentored students.

Alexander Vagner has a Master's degree in Software Engineering (Information and Computing Systems) from ITMO University, which they obtained in 2017. Alexander also has a Bachelor's degree in Informatics and Computer Facilities from ITMO University, which they obtained in 2015. In addition, they have obtained several certifications, including MongoDB for Developers (M001, M103, M220, M201) from MongoDB in 2019, Programming in C# from Microsoft in 2015, MCPS: Microsoft Certified Professional from Microsoft in 2015, Programming in HTML5 with JavaScript and CSS3 from Microsoft in 2015, and MTA: HTML5 Application Development Fundamentals from Microsoft in 2015.
