Julie Owst

Julie Owst is an accomplished leader in sustainability and business change, currently serving as the Head of Sustainability at Bidfood UK since January 2013. In this role, Julie is responsible for spearheading an ESG programme and contributing to the company's HR and culture strategy. Previously, Julie held multiple roles at Bidfood UK, including Business Change Manager, where a three-year sustainability strategy titled 'Food for the Future' was developed, and Change Implementation Manager, managing nationwide HR and payroll system changes. Prior experience includes Communications and Culture Manager positions at Wincanton, as well as Southern Distribution Manager, and Project Analyst roles. Julie has also contributed to P&O TransEuropean as an interim Area Manager. Educational qualifications include an MSc in Sustainability from Cranfield University and a BA Hons in French from the University of Kent.
