Paul Sweeny's work experience spans over three decades. ⭐️ Paul began their career as a Software Developer at Logica, where they focused on military simulation and war gaming. ⭐️ Paul then moved on to Nomura as a Senior Software Engineer, working on fault-tolerant and high-throughput server-side distributed components for middle office systems.

In 1997, Paul joined Credit Suisse First Boston as a Senior Software Engineer, where they designed and developed multi-asset class services, including a framework for real-time price distribution and a high-performance currency pair crossing engine.

In 2000, Paul joined TradingScreen as a Development Manager and Architect. ⭐️ Paul led the development of an award-winning Execution Management System (EMS) for trading various financial instruments. Their responsibilities included engineering proprietary middleware, historical price tick collection, security systems, and trade analytics.

Since 2017, Paul has been the Chief Technology Officer at BidFX. ⭐️ Paul played a crucial role in architecting their Foreign Exchange (FX) Execution Management System (EMS), which provides best-execution across multiple liquidity providers. The platform supports trading spots, futures, options, and metals via web, mobile, and API.
