Themba Mahlangu

Themba Mahlangu is an experienced engineering professional currently serving as an Engineering Controller in Fleet Procurement and Asset Management at Bidvest Bank Limited since October 2021, focusing on agile projects and quality assurance. Prior to this role, Themba worked as a Process Engineer at UD Trucks Southern Africa, where responsibilities included Value Stream Mapping (VSM) and implementing Six Sigma principles. Themba also held a position as a Production Process Engineer at Volvo Trucks South Africa, specializing in time studies and machining, and assisted senior engineers as an Engineering Technical Assistant. Themba's education includes a Bachelor of Technology in Engineering/Industrial Management and a National Diploma in Industrial Engineering from Tshwane University of Technology, along with certifications in Process Mapping and Six Sigma Green Belt from Advanced Innovation Group Pro Excellence. Currently, Themba is pursuing a Postgraduate Diploma in Business Administration and Management at Henley Business School - Africa.
