Tracy Alexander is an experienced professional in sales and management with a strong background in the furniture and design sectors. Currently serving as Group Head Furniture at Bidvest Waltons since September 2021, Tracy previously held the role of Account Executive at Dauphin Human Design Group from September 2010 to December 2021, where responsibilities included managing dealer relations and providing product training. Tracy also worked as a Sales Executive at Dauphin HumanDesign® Group South Africa and as Operations Manager at I & TS SA, where key contributions involved communication and coordination with the Managing Director and Draughtsman. Prior experience includes serving as National Sales Manager at Home Fabrics Ltd., overseeing a sales team and managing a UK fabric brand, along with roles as Bookkeeper at INVENTAPROM (PTY) LTD and Credit Controller at Shelford Golf. Educational credentials include degrees in Sales and Marketing Management and Bookkeeping from Damelin, along with a National Senior Certificate from Hill High School.

Waltons Stationery was opened by Mr Norman Walton as a humble family store in Cape Town in 1949 with the goal of bringing Capetonians a previously unseen range of high quality stationery and work tools. Mr Walton's emphasis on innovative, high-quality product ranges and excellent customer service - the kind that you can only find in a family-owned business - formed the bedrock of what would become an iconic brand in Cape Town and South Africa as a whole. As consumer and business needs changed - our offering changed and expanded with Stationery and Office Supplies adding Office Furniture, Cleaning and Hygiene products, Milk, Tea and Coffee essentials, Technology and, of course, our Back2School Range. In 1997 - after years of substantial growth and a JSE Listing - Bidvest acquired Waltons and its subsidiaries where it forms part of the Bidvest Brands umbrella as Bidvest Waltons. So much has changed since Mr Walton opened his store in 1949 - the World has changed - but one thing is for certain.
