Paul Coulson

Assistant Building Surveyor at Bidwells LLP

A natural listener with a calm exterior, Paul instantly puts his clients at ease. He listens and teases out exactly what it is you need and works with you to resolve your concerns. He is a team player, so much so that he now works within the Hatfield House estate on a three-day secondment.

With an incredible eye for detail and someone who really likes to get under the skin of a project, Paul is someone you want on your team. With his technical experience, he envisages problems before they become mountains and provides the best authentic solutions to preserve the integrity of your valuable buildings.

Being involved with complex projects including delivering the maintenance plan for the 16th century Hatfield House estate, reroofing the oldest chapel in Cambridge and forecasting and delivering the refurbishment work for some of Cambridge colleges, Paul plays a small yet important part in these buildings’ histories.

He not only makes his mark on history but also with his acute attention and appreciation for making sure his clients move back into their buildings as smoothly as possible, having spent two years prior honing his approach at the Eddington Development.
