Jim Soby, CPA, CMA, CIA, CGMA has extensive experience in finance and accounting. Jim began their career in 1992 as a Financial Analyst at Stop & Shop. In 1994, they moved to Di Pesa & Company, CPA's as a Senior In Charge Auditor. In 1997, they joined Castel Communications LLC as Corporate Controller, where they were responsible for directing the finance and human resource activities within the entrepreneurial environment. In 1999, they joined Cramer as Vice President/Corporate Controller and Vice President/General Manager of the Digital Marketing Division. In 2009, they joined Tribe Mediterranean Foods as CFO, where they led a team responsible for financial strategy, planning, capital allocation, investment analysis, pricing decisions, IT, tax, board presentations, legal and risk management. Jim also oversaw complex restructurings and led the divestiture of the business from Nestl\u00e9 to a private equity firm. In 2019, they joined Biena Snacks as VP of Finance.
Jim Soby holds a Bachelor of Science in Accounting from the Massachusetts College of Liberal Arts. Additionally, they hold four certifications: Certified Public Accountant (CPA) from the Commonwealth of Massachusetts, Certified Management Accountant (CMA) from the Institute of Management Accountants, Certified Internal Auditor (CIA) from The Institute of Internal Auditors Inc., and Chartered Global Management Accountant (CGMA) from the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants.
