Daniel Rivas

Daniel Rivas serves as the Director of the Office of Community Outreach and Engagement at UCI Health since March 2024, focusing on reducing cancer-related burdens through community partnerships and research. Rivas is also a Board Member at Bienestar Human Services since March 2023, and previously held the position of Senior Manager for Community Health at Blue Shield of California from December 2019 to March 2024, where responsibilities included managing programs to enhance integrated health services. Earlier roles include Section Manager for Grants at Covered California, Regional Manager, and Statewide Supervisor at Richard Heath and Associates, Inc., along with significant experience in program coordination and leadership at various health organizations starting in 2001. Rivas holds a Master's Degree in Organizational Leadership from Los Angeles Pacific University and a Bachelor's Degree in Organizational Leadership from Azusa Pacific University.
