Abigail Penzell serves as Partner, General Counsel, and Chief Compliance Officer at Bienville Capital Management since May 2018 and has held the same titles at Informatic Capital since March 2023. Prior to these roles, Abigail gained significant experience as an Associate at Schulte Roth & Zabel LLP focusing on Investment Management from August 2012 to May 2018 and worked in a similar capacity at WilmerHale LLP specializing in Securities Enforcement and Litigation from October 2008 to August 2012. Abigail's legal career began at JPMorgan Chase and Bear Stearns as an Attorney from May 2006 to October 2008 and included an earlier position as a Legal Assistant at Skadden, Arps, Slate, Meagher & Flom LLP & Affiliates, focusing on Mergers and Acquisitions. Educational qualifications include a BA from Georgetown University, an MA from Columbia University, and a JD from Cardozo School of Law, alongside attendance at the Convent of the Sacred Heart, 91st Street.
