Nicola Lawson

Nicola Lawson has over 15 years of diverse work experience in finance and accounting. Nicola is currently working as the Head of Finance - Commercial I&C at Biffa starting in 2023. Prior to this, Nicola worked at Centrica from 2014 to 2023, holding various roles such as Finance Partner and Senior Finance Partner. During their tenure, they were responsible for managing financial aspects related to Bad Debt charges, delivering transformation savings, and restructuring processes to achieve cost savings. Before Centrica, Nicola had roles at Vodafone as a Senior Finance Analyst and Finance Partner, as well as at Cable & Wireless as a Corporate Finance Manager and UK Financial Accountant. Nicola began their career at Ernst & Young as an Executive from 2006 to 2009.

Nicola Lawson earned their Bachelor of Arts degree in Accounting from the University of Reading. Nicola attended the university from 2002 to 2005.
