Karla Gomez

Karla Gomez has a diverse work experience spanning different industries and roles. Karla started their career in 2000 as a Co-founder/VP of Product Development at Cytus, LLC. From 2001 to 2005, they worked as the VP of Retail Client Solutions at Kottos. Karla then joined The Jonathan Association in 2003 as an Association Administrator and Staff Accountant, where they managed accounting responsibilities and general business operations. From 2005 to 2006, they worked as a Staff Accountant at HG&K, Ltd, specializing in construction, real estate, and manufacturing industries. In 2007, they joined Miga Solutions as the Director of Finance and Administration, and later became the Controller and VP of Finance and Administration. From 2011 to 2012, they worked as a Senior Staff Accountant at Sara Lassila, CPA, Inc., specializing in small-medium sized business accounting. From 2012 to 2015, they worked as a Controller at Hartman Companies Inc, a construction company with multiple divisions. From 2015 to 2018, they served as the Accounting Manager at Perfect Memorials, an online retailer. In 2018, they worked as a Consultant and then as the Director of Finance at Biffs Inc. Karla Gomez obtained a Bachelor of Science degree with a dual major in BA-Accounting and Technology Management from Herzing University. Karla attended the university from 2002 to 2006. In addition to their degree, Karla also obtained two certifications as a ProAdvisor in 2010 and 2011 from Intuit QuickBooks.
