Mahesh Dharmakari is a seasoned tax professional with extensive experience in indirect tax compliance and advisory roles. Currently serving as Cluster Lead at Deloitte since April 2024, Mahesh oversees a team of approximately 25 professionals, focusing on performance management and operational efficiency. Prior to this, Mahesh held the position of Assistant Manager at EY from July 2020 to March 2024, where responsibilities included VAT compliance, process improvement, and team supervision as GDS country champion for Austria, Germany, and Luxembourg. Mahesh's earlier tenure at Deloitte and Genpact involved in-depth work in indirect tax reporting within the European Union and supporting account transfers at Wells Fargo Advisors. With a strong background in training, mentoring, and technology integration, Mahesh continues to drive excellence in VAT compliance processes.
