Karen Nash

Karen Nash, SPHR, SHRM-SCP has extensive work experience in the field of human resources. Karen currently holds the position of Vice President of Human Resources at Big 5 Sporting Goods since April 2021. Prior to this role, they served as Director-Benefits at the same company since March 1992.

In addition to their corporate experience, Karen has also been an Instructor at UCLA Extension since April 2017. Karen has been actively involved in the Professionals In Human Resources Association | PIHRA, where they served as the Western Regional Representative since August 2019 and as the Programs and Professional Development Chair since August 2011.

Karen Nash, SPHR, SHRM-SCP received their SPHR certification in Human Resources from Brandman University. Prior to that, they attended the University of Phoenix from 2003 to 2007.
