Jaclyn Santiago

Jaclyn (Shapiro) Santiago is a seasoned healthcare professional currently serving as the Director of Access and Growth at Big Bend Hospice since February 2024. Prior to this role, Jaclyn held the position of Territory Manager at Barnes Healthcare Services from January 2022 to August 2024, and served as the Community Relations Director at Capital Home Health Corp from January 2016 to January 2022. Jaclyn began a career in health services as a Hospital Liaison/Provider Relations Representative at Covenant Hospice from September 2012 to February 2016, and previously worked as the Director of Admissions at Consulate Health Care, overseeing patient referrals for facility placements. An earlier role included Director of Social Services at Gulf Coast Health Care/Brynwood Center, where Jaclyn conducted psychosocial assessments and developed treatment plans for residents. Jaclyn earned a Master’s degree in Social Work from Florida State University in 2009, and a Bachelor’s degree in Social Work from the same institution in 2008.
