Chenyang Xin, LMSW, is a seasoned professional in the field of social work and youth mentoring, currently serving as the Senior Program Manager for the Innovative Department at Big Brothers Big Sisters of NYC since June 2019. This organization, the nation's first and New York City's largest youth mentoring entity, focuses on fostering mentoring relationships to empower youth across all five boroughs. Prior to this role, Chenyang worked as a Research Assistant at the Workplace Center at Columbia University, where innovative strategies were developed to promote economic independence. Additional experience includes serving as an Elementary School Counselor at Yung Wing Elementary School and as an Associate Program Manager at CESS. Chenyang holds a Master's degree in Social Work from Columbia University and a Bachelor's degree in Economics with a minor in Communication from the University of Colorado Denver.
