Lissette Hernandez possesses extensive experience in child engagement and program planning, currently serving as a Volunteer Care Coordinator at Big Brothers Big Sisters of NYC since September 2000, managing child enrollment inquiries and client data processing. Prior to this role, Lissette worked as a Health Care Program Planner Analyst at NYC Health and Hospitals Corporation from September 1997 to August 2000, where responsibilities included addressing referrals for developmental testing through the NYC Early Intervention Totline. Earlier in their career, as a Recreational Counselor with the Police Athletic League, engagement in day camp activities and supervision of junior counselors was key from July 1996 to September 1997. Lissette holds a Bachelor of Science in Psychology from Fordham University and a Regents High School Diploma from Adlai E. Stevenson High School.
