Thom McGowan

Thom McGowan is an experienced professional with a strong background in social work and mentoring. Currently serving as an Options Case Manager at Big Brothers Big Sisters of Bucks County since 2011, Thom provides mentorship and counseling to youth involved with the Children and Youth and criminal justice systems. Prior to this role, Thom worked for United Parcel Service from 1985 to 2011, holding various management positions, including 18 years as a security supervisor and investigator. Thom's career in child welfare began at the Children's Aid Society of Pennsylvania, where responsibilities included supervising social workers and working comprehensively in child welfare from 1974 to 1985. Thom holds a Master's Degree in Clinical Social Work from Rutgers Graduate School of Social Work and a Bachelor's Degree in Social Work from La Salle College.
