Jack Sheppard

Vice President Of Marketing And Partnership Development at Big Brothers Big Sisters of Tampa Bay

Jack Sheppard has a diverse work experience spanning over three decades. Jack began their career as an Assistant Sports Editor for the Dallas Times Herald in 1987 and then moved on to become an NFL Writer for the Tampa Bay Times in 1988. Jack later transitioned to the position of Deputy Sports Editor at the Tampa Bay Times in 1989 and eventually became the Deputy Managing Editor in 1993. In this role, they managed two critical newsroom departments and led the award-winning Sports department for 21 years. In 2015, Sheppard joined Big Brothers Big Sisters of Tampa Bay as the Vice President of Marketing and Partnership Development, where they oversee the marketing and recruiting staff and is responsible for media relations, internal communication, and developing and maintaining relationships with corporate and community partners.

Jack Sheppard attended The Ohio State University from 1975 to 1979, where they pursued a Bachelor of Science degree in Communication, Journalism, and Related Programs.
